Message

I worked as a pediatric surgeon after graduating from medical school. Through that experience, I encountered many problems that could not be overcome with modern medical knowledge alone. I sought to expand the scope of my clinical practice and met Japanese traditional(Kampo) medicine. For example, in bowel movements after gastrointestinal surgery, diarrhea and abdominal pain may occur with general laxatives. In this case, defecation is controlled mildly by using herbal medicine such as Daikenchuto. I was totally fascinated by these effects unique to Japanese traditional(Kampo) medicine, and continue it. At present, we perform comprehensive Kampo medicine treatment including acupuncture. We place particular emphasis on the treatment of childhood diseases in general, treatment of childhood intractable diseases and support for reintegration, and Kampo treatment for hemangiomas and hemangioma such as lymphangioma and blood vessel malformation.
